Volunteers Of Legal Service, Inc. (VOLS)

VOLS provides free civil legal services to New Yorkers with limited income across our nine projects. VOLS identifies areas of legal need, develops projects to meet these needs, and recruits volunteer lawyers and law firms to provide the legal services necessary to address these needs.

Every day, the VOLS team and network of partners stand by New Yorkers as they face their legal challenges. Through our legal programs, VOLS helps to secure government benefits, to stave off evictions, to resolve immigration issues, to start small businesses, and much more.
