Welcoming Yanixa Malca to the Attorney Emeritus Program!

We are delighted to welcome Yanixa Malca to the Attorney Emeritus Program as the first full-time, permanent AEP Coordinator at the NYS Unified Court System!


Yanixa will be working closely with the AEP team at Fordham Law School's Feerick Center for Social Justice in order to build relationships with host organizations and volunteers and facilitate the AEP's long-term goals.


Yanixa is a legal and administrative professional with experience in court operations, project management, and customer service. Prior to her current role, she served as the assistant to the Hon. Shahabuddeen A. Ally, who was formerly the Supervising Judge of New York County Civil Court, where she focused on enhancing court efficiency, statistical reporting, and budget processes. She has also held roles at Consolidated Edison Inc., where she assisted in improving system operations and the customer service experience. 


Yanixa holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with a Forensic Psychology concentration from Montclair State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Law from the City College of New York.
